Stand out from the crowd…

It’s tough to get noticed in business when you don’t have a whole lot of marketing funds, but here are some tips to get your small pet business noticed.

  1. 1. Create a Brand for your business, not just a business name.
  2. 2. Use your logo everywhere – business cards, posters, shirts, hats, mail, vehicle, online – everywhere.
  3. 3. Make Business cards, or even better – magnets. Business cards get lost in handbags but magnets hold kids artwork!
  4. 4. Create a website. If you’re just starting up and just need a basic Do-it-yourself, consider visiting Yola, WordPress, Vista or Weebly.
  5. 5. Utilise your vehicle space for advertising – Back window stickers, sign writing, door magnets.
  6. 6. Utilise Social Media pages such as Facebook, twitter, Myspace and Linked-In.
  7.  7. Enter your business details and website links on internet directories. Where possible, use your logo so people recognise it, but even just a basic listing will still get your business  in front of more potential clients AND bring your business higher in search engines. Make sure to state in your listings exactly what you do and your suburb for better search options.
